Sealed before kickoff

Before every slate locks, our server builds 150 lineups with the settings a new customer starts on and publishes a fingerprint of them here, with the time. After the games, the same entry shows the lineups and how they did.

Every build our server seals before kickoff is listed here for good, win or lose. Before the games are over only the slate, the time and the fingerprint are public: no lineups, no players. When the games end, the lineups and the exact text that was fingerprinted appear so anyone can check it. The owner's review only decides when the graded finish shows; it never removes a build from this list. These builds were not entered in any contest: they show what our default settings would have done, not money won or lost.

Sealed before kickoff: running tally

  • 0 builds sealed before kickoff
  • 0 graded publicly

Nothing has been sealed yet. The first build is sealed shortly before the next lock.

How to check a fingerprint yourself

  1. Download the canonical text (available once the games are over).
  2. Compute its SHA-256: sha256sum canonical.txt (Linux/macOS), Get-FileHash -Algorithm SHA256 canonical.txt (Windows PowerShell) or python -c "import hashlib,sys;print(hashlib.sha256(open(sys.argv[1],'rb').read()).hexdigest())" canonical.txt.
  3. Compare it with the hash published before kickoff. They must match exactly.

The canonical text is compact JSON (sorted keys, no spaces, ASCII only, no trailing newline) of these fields of the saved build: slate_key, operator_slate_id, lock_at, built_at, settings, lineups.

Past results do not predict future results. Fantasy contests involve both skill and chance, and you can lose every entry. Nothing here is a promise of winnings.
